Paul Mortimer Our Candidate for the Bromham, Rowde and Potterne By Election
Devizes Liberal Democrats have chosen local resident Paul Mortimer as their candidate in the forthcoming Wiltshire Council by-election. Paul Mortimer lives with his family in Bromham, where he is a Parish Councillor. Paul who has lived in the Bromham and Rowde areas nearly all his life, was Chairman of Roundway View a self build scheme that allowed 12 families to pool their resources and skills to build homes; homes which would have otherwise been unaffordable.
As a governor of Rowde primary school Paul was instrumental in helping to raise funds for the rebuilding of the school: "It was great to be part of so many people working towards one goal … My children, Charlotte and Georgina benefited enormously from the superb leadership and positive attitude of the School and other parents in the village all wanting the best for their families."
"We are delighted to have such a respected and successful community campaigner as our candidate" said Rick Roland, Vice-Chairman of Devizes Constituency Lib Dems.
